WHAT?
- Historically, Women* and their bodies are always exploited and sexualised through the media. Media is showing certain stereotypes of female* bodies on how they should look like or how they should behave. We could say that the female body is never just the body of its owner. The problem with having a body is that it is always visible, there will never be a neutral behavior or look, it is owned by society and people feel the need to have an opinion about it. The body always communicates in various ways. I am dealing with the perception of the female* body and how visual representation of women* and their bodys work. I am deconstructing the typical gaze and show the body deviating from what is expected.
